Are your products vegan and gluten-free?
Yes. All of our cold-pressed juices, tonics, elixirs and wellness shots are 100% vegan and naturally gluten-free. Our smoothies use entirely plant-based ingredients. If you have a specific allergy or intolerance, please check the full ingredient list for each product on the website or contact us directly.
What does "cold-pressed" mean and why does it matter?
Cold pressing uses a hydraulic press to extract juice slowly without heat or blades. This preserves significantly more vitamins, minerals, enzymes and antioxidants compared to regular juicing, which generates heat that destroys nutrients. The result is a more nutritious, more vibrant juice that tastes closer to biting into the fresh fruit or vegetable itself.
Are your juices pasteurised?
No. Our juices are raw and unpasteurised. Pasteurisation uses heat to extend shelf life, but it also destroys a significant portion of the vitamins, enzymes and beneficial properties that make cold pressed juice so good for you. We press to order so our juices are as fresh as possible when they reach you.
Do your juices contain any additives, sugar or preservatives?
Absolutely not. Our juices contain only the fruits, vegetables and plants listed in the ingredients — nothing else. No added sugar, no preservatives, no flavourings, no concentrates. What's on the label is exactly what's in the bottle.
How long do the juices last once I receive them?
Because our juices are raw and preservative-free, they have a shorter shelf life than commercial juices. Shelf life is typically 5-7 days from delivery when kept refrigerated at 1-4°C. Straight juices like Pure Orange or Pure Lemon last up to 7 days; blended juices and smoothies are best consumed within 5 days. Always keep refrigerated and never freeze.
Should I shake the juice before drinking?
Yes, always give it a good shake. Because our juices are raw and contain no emulsifiers, natural separation of the juice and its solids is completely normal — it's actually a sign of quality. A good shake before each pour ensures you get the full nutritional benefit in every sip.
Where do you source your produce?
We source predominantly from Western Australian growers, selecting each variety for its flavour, nutritional profile and growing conditions. A small number of ingredients are sourced from elsewhere in Australia where WA growing conditions aren't ideal — for example, our Gold Pineapples come from Queensland where the climate and nutrient-rich soil produce the sweetest, most flavourful fruit available. We are committed to using the best quality produce, wherever in Australia that comes from.
What is your zero waste policy?
Zero waste is at the heart of how we operate. Every glass bottle we supply is collected, cleaned and reused. The fruit and vegetable pulp from our daily pressing is composted through a biodynamic process to create living soil, which we use to grow the organic wheatgrass featured in our wellness shots. Nothing from our production process goes to landfill.
Are your juices suitable for children?
Yes, absolutely — all of our cold-pressed juices are suitable for children and make a wonderful, nutrient-rich alternative to sugary drinks. At our farmers markets we see kids of all ages enjoying everything from the Pure Orange to the Green Elixir. Some of the more vegetal juices like CBK Maximise may not be every child's first flavour preference, but they are completely safe and many kids genuinely surprise their parents. Cold-pressed juice is one of the best things you can give a child.
