Elixirs FAQs

Wheatgrass Green Elixir

What makes wheatgrass so special?

Wheatgrass is one of the most nutrient-dense plants on Earth. It's packed with chlorophyll — which helps oxygenate the blood and support detoxification — as well as vitamins A, C, E and K, iron, calcium, magnesium and all essential amino acids. Our wheatgrass is uniquely grown in-house using a fully biodynamic process: the pulp from our daily juice production is composted into living soil, which we then use to grow our own organic wheatgrass from scratch. This means our wheatgrass is as fresh and as nutrient-dense as it is possible to be.

What are the other ingredients in the Wheatgrass Green Elixir?

The elixir combines our biodynamically grown wheatgrass with spirulina — a superfood algae containing high levels of protein, calcium, potassium, zinc, iron and magnesium — cucumber juice for hydration and cleansing, lime for alkalising, Granny Smith apple for fibre and Vitamin C, and mint for a refreshing, brain-boosting finish. It is a complete green nutrition formula in one bottle.

Is the taste very intense?

Wheatgrass has a distinctive, grassy flavour that some people find strong at first. The combination of mint, lime and apple in our elixir significantly softens this and makes it far more palatable than a straight wheatgrass shot. Most customers who stick with it for a week find they quickly develop a taste for it — and miss it when they stop.

Turmeric Nourish

What are the benefits of turmeric in this elixir?

Turmeric contains curcumin, one of the most studied natural anti-inflammatory compounds in the world. It reduces inflammation at the cellular level, linked to improvements in joint pain, digestive health, brain function and chronic disease risk. The addition of black pepper in our Turmeric Nourish is intentional — piperine in black pepper increases the bioavailability of curcumin by up to 2000%, making the anti-inflammatory benefit far more effective than turmeric consumed alone.

Who should drink Turmeric Nourish regularly?

Anyone dealing with inflammation, joint pain, digestive issues or who wants to support long-term brain and cardiovascular health. It's also excellent for post-workout recovery. People with arthritis or chronic inflammatory conditions often find it particularly beneficial with regular use.

What does it taste like?

Earthy and warming, with the depth of turmeric, the sweetness of carrot and orange, and the brightness of lemon and ginger. It's a complex and satisfying flavour — not sweet, but rich and spiced. Best enjoyed chilled.

Beetroot Beta-C

Why is Beetroot Beta-C so good for the blood?

Beetroot is one of the most powerful blood-supporting foods in nature. It's high in nitrates, which help improve blood flow and act as a natural blood purifier. It stimulates red blood cell production and helps remove toxins from circulation. The Beta-C in the name refers to Beta Carotene — found in both the beetroot and carrot — which converts to Vitamin A in the body, supporting vision, immunity and cell health.

Is it good for athletic performance?

Yes, significantly. The natural nitrates in beetroot are well-documented to improve oxygen delivery to muscles, boost stamina and enhance athletic endurance. Many athletes consume beetroot juice before training or competition for this reason. Our Beetroot Beta-C provides this benefit alongside the additional vitamins and minerals from carrot, lemon and ginger.

The colour is very deep — is it natural?

Completely. The deep burgundy-red comes entirely from betalains — the phytonutrients found naturally in beetroot that are also responsible for its powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and detoxification properties. If you notice your urine or stool taking on a reddish tinge after drinking this juice, this is completely harmless and simply a sign of the high betalain content.
